Emblefast Tups
Texel Rams and Tups from the Heart of Northumberland

About Us
Gill and John Gray came to Embleton Steads in 1979. Their three children grew up on the farm and went to local schools but have now since all emigrated to the South of England to pursue careers.
Embleton Steads is a 387 acre upland farm.
Over the years enterprises on the farm have included suckler cows, bull beef and sheep. For some time now the farm has been operating a closed flock of commercial sheep, varying in size from a thousand to fifteen hundred ewes. The commercial flock is made up of 50% Easycare sheep, 30% LLeyn, 20% Texel cross.
John and Gill Gray started their pedigree flock with 4 Pedigree Texel ewes, bought at Carlisle Market in 1996. The pedigree flock comprises of 30 Signet recorded Texel ewes.
Ram and ewe sales will be direct from the farm.
